ResidentWeb.com was grounded in the purpose of providing a one-stop & free resource on the Internet for all physicians-in-training.

Founded in 1999 by residents, ResidentWeb.com is dedicated to providing its users with the tools, resources and means to enrich their experience as physicians-in-training and prepare them for the future.
ResidentWeb is endorsed by over 60 medical school libraries and has been recognized as an outstanding resource by numerous organizations (including the American Medical Association, Massachusetts Medical Society, and National Consortium of Residents).
ResidentWeb has a strong and committed management team (listed below), as well as numerous volunteer residents around the country who assist in updating the information available on the web site.
Management
Tarun Jain, MD, Co-founder and President
Tarun is presently an Assistant Professor and Clinical IVF Director in the Divison of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He completed his fellowship at Brigham & Women's hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA and his residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Tarun holds BS degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, MS in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and MD with Highest Distinction from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
Ruchi Gupta, MD, MPH, Co-founder and Vice President of Operations
Ruchi is presently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA, and a fellowship in General Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She holds a BS in Biology with a Minor in Psychology, an MD from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. Ruchi is Past President of the Young Physicians Section of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), as well as Past President of the National Consortium of Residents (NCR). Additionally, Ruchi has co-authored a domestic violence handbook for health care professionals that is presently used in the state of Kentucky.
